Finally…

The stunning Liya Kebede will be in the April J.Crew Catalogue

Two of my favorites in fashion have come together for a collaboration. Liya Kebede, whom is an exceptional Fashion model AND Humanitarian will be featured in the April catalogue for J.Crew, which if you read enough of my blog you know that that is MY store. It might not be that big of a deal anyone else, but I think it’s about time J. Crew’s had just a little bit more color in their advertising, and I’m not talking about pastels or brights. I’m an avid J.Crew consumer so as a woman of color I can be a bit disappointed at times with their lack of individuals who represent me. I couldn’t be any more happier with their choice of feature, and will definitely have some scans up once I receive my catalogue.

I’m in Love!

With these shoes! I love things that are feminine in nature but absolutely HATE pink! Very ironic I know, but I really can’t help but to love these pair of shoes. I always get my shoes from J.Crew, so am not surprised at the cuteness factor, but when I saw these I couldn’t help but be caught in an “Awe” moment from how lovely they were. Retailing for about $225, I think these would be a perfect Easter shoe. One of the reasons why you can never go wrong with J.Crew, at least according to me anyway.

Who Styles Her?!?

While I do think Rihanna’s talent is questionable,  I think it is a universal agreement that overcompensates (In a good way) for this with her style. Whoever styles her… BRAVO! Rarely if ever have we caught Rihanna on an off day in the past year, and if we have she STILL didn’t look bad. Kudos to her and her team…
